Shurdington Primary School is a Church of England school situated on the outskirts of Shurdington village, Cheltenham, off the main A46 road, in Badgeworth Lane. The school is a voluntary controlled Church of England school and has very good links with the Parish Church of St. Paul’s. We are a co-educational school with approximately 150 pupils between the ages of 4-11.
Our accommodation comprises seven classrooms, three libraries, dedicated EYFS and Y1 outside areas, lots of space for interventions and a cookery room. We are fully accessible for all children with a lift, large hygiene room and a physiotherapy room. We also have a very spacious hall which is used for assemblies, performances, PE and other curriculum areas and for serving cooked meals and packed lunches.
Outside there’s a large playground with seated areas, an adventure playground, a “quiet” garden and extensive playing fields including a trim-trail and play ship. The school offers a fantastic environment for children where they can feel secure and happy in surroundings that are well cared for and attractive.
