Maths Homework 

This term I will add homework online each week for you to have a go at. It does not need to be printed but squared paper to complete will be very useful.  I will also have paper copies available in the classroom for the children to collect if this is preferred. All of these methods have been taught in school. Please sit with your children to complete this homework to support them. Returned homework will be rewarded with bundles of praise and house points. 

 

Continue to use TTRS online to practise. The Garage mode is best for practising the tables I have set for you. Use Jamming to select your own tables to practise without the pressure of a timer.

Spelling Homework 

Spelling Homework is a quiz online available for 7 days. A new quiz is uploaded each week (Monday). Key spelling words will be given to the chidlren for them to practise at home. This will support them to spell the words. We will use the key words in sentences on a Thursday. Online, the quiz will be based on what had alreay been learnt that week- Login details are in reading records.

Reading Homework 

Please read with your child as much as possible and complete their reading record. On a Friday, books will be changed and reading records checked. Children will be awarded a raffle ticket for every time they have read at home. These will all go in a jar for an end of term treat for a few lucky winners!
